Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Meclay you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use it for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding contract. You must give accurate details when you sign up.

You are responsible for your account, your password, and everything done through it. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access. You may not share, sell or transfer an account.

Generations are paid for with credits. The price of each generation, what each plan costs, and the credits and models each plan includes are shown in the app and on our pricing page, and may change. A change does not affect a generation you have already started.

• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and expire at the end of your plan period.
• If a generation fails on our side or at the model provider, the credits used for it are returned automatically.
• A generation that completes is not refundable because you dislike the result.
• Some plans offer models in an "Unlimited" mode. It is subject to fair-use limits, queueing and delays, and may be changed or limited to keep the service available to everyone. It is not a promise of unlimited capacity.
• Where payments apply, you authorise the charge for the plan you choose, and fees are not refundable except where the law says otherwise.

You agree not to use Meclay to create, upload or share content that:

• sexually exploits or endangers minors, or is otherwise illegal;
• depicts a real person in a sexual, deceptive or harmful way without their consent, or impersonates anyone to mislead others;
• harasses, threatens, or promotes hate or violence against people or groups;
• infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• contains malware, or is used for fraud, scams or spam.

You also agree not to:

• try to get around credits, limits, queues or moderation, or use bots or scripts to take more than your share;
• probe, attack or overload the service, or access it other than through the app we provide;
• resell access, or use outputs to train a competing AI model, unless we agree in writing.

We check prompts and may remove content, refuse a request, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

You keep the rights you have in what you upload and type (your "inputs"). You confirm you have the right to use them and that they do not break the law or anyone's rights.

As between you and us, you may use the results generated for you, including commercially, to the extent the law and the terms of the underlying AI models allow. AI results can be similar across users, may not be unique, and may not be protected by copyright in every country. You are responsible for how you use them.

You give us a limited licence to host, process, copy and display your inputs and results as needed to run the service for you, including sending them to the model providers you choose, and to keep them safe and enforce these Terms.

Results are made by AI models from other companies. Their availability, quality and rules can change and are outside our control. We may add, change or remove models at any time.

We work to keep Meclay running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or end features, and we may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

You can stop using Meclay at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, put the service or others at risk, or if the law requires. Unused credits are lost when an account ends.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty, express or implied, including about quality, accuracy, fitness for a purpose, or that results will be free of errors or of material that resembles other works.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Meclay is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to cover losses and costs we incur from a claim that arises because you broke these Terms or someone else's rights through your inputs or how you used the results.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be handled by the courts there, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
